Whois JAlpino?

I'm a Sr. Applications Developer / Aspiring Enterprise Architect living and working in the Northern part of Baltimore County. Over the past several years I have designed and developed small, medium and enterprise level applications for a variety of businesses using Java, Coldfusion, PHP, JavaScript, CSS and (some) Actionscript. I also moonlight as designer for the web when my hands aren't wrapped around some code.

I have an affinity for everything web and am in a constant state of learning. After graduating from Towson University with a Bachelors in Computer Science, I continued investing in my education by trying to read and practice as much as I could absorb about programming on the web. 11 years later, all of what I know and use on a daily basis has been self taught. I take pride in being able to adapt to new technologies and environments quickly.

Outside of the Web and programming I spend a lot of time bass fishing, experimenting with ingredients to create the perfect BBQ, dreaming up passive income strategies and building stuff. I've been fishing for as long as I could remember and will probably keep doing so until I'm old and grey.
